Erin Knutson is a creative director and founder of Erin Knutson Studio, a full service creative agency based in New York City. From 2015-2020, she was the design director of PIN–UP, a bi-annual magazine for architectural entertainment. From 2020-present she has designed Bloomberg Green magazine, a quarterly publication focused on climate change. Her clients include Red Bull Arts, Performance Space New York, The Whitney Museum of American Art, Bjarne Melgaard, Metro Pictures, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Bloomberg Businessweek, Bar Agricole, Dimes, and Mina’s Cafe at PS1.


Erin is a visiting lecturer and critic at Yale University, Princeton University, Parsons School of Design and Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She has taught workshops at A School A Park, and Typography Summer School. She received her BFA from Cooper Union and her MFA from Yale University.
